INT. PADDED CELL - SOME TIME IN THE PRESENT.
A man wakes up groggy and confused. He looks around, trying to see through the blades of darkness. He thinks, "Where am I?". He's not home. He quickly realizes that he's no longer in control of his life. He screams for help ... but no one hears him. Ironically, the silence is deafening. He's alone and disconnected from society. He screams again. Nothing. Silence. After a while, he begins to hear his own heartbeat. It becomes too much.
